Meeting of the Chairman of the Board of the SSB RT "Amonatbonk" with the representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in the Republic of Tajikistan (FAO)

The SSB RT "Amonatbonk" as a state bank implementing a part of the social policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in order to expand its financial activities, is taking all necessary measures to establish relations with banks and international financial institutions.

On December 7, 2021, at the initiative of the representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Oleg Guchgeldiev, a bilateral meeting was held with the Chairman of the Board of the SSS RT "Amonatbonk" Mr. Ikromi S.S.

During the meeting a number of issues were discussed, including the provision of concessional loans to the agro-industrial sector, processing of industrial products, the establishment of production facilities and support for small and medium-sized businesses in remote areas of the country.

Based on the information provided by the Chairman of the Board about the activities of the Bank, the Head of FAO Representative Office in Tajikistan expressed confidence in establishing cooperation, as well as plans to develop an action plan from the beginning of 2022 and establish a joint working group with the SSB RT "Amonatbonk".

At the end of the meeting the Chairman of the Board of the SSB RT "Amonatbonk" Ikromi S.S. also expressed his confidence that the bank is always ready to assist in the implementation of programs of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, especially in support of needy people and increasing the welfare of the population, cooperating with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in the Republic of Tajikistan.
